If you aren't familiar with "the Quiet Side" of Door County, you will be pleasantly surprised by the lack of people, traffic and bustle associated with Door County in the summer. Close enough to conveniently reach restaurants, golf, boating, and entertainment; secluded enough to give you true peace and quiet when you want it.

Now Ephraim Shores offers the best of both worlds! In addition to our fine accommodations on the shore of Eagle Harbor in Ephraim, we have two cottages available on the shore of Lake Michigan, just north of Jacksonport. A wide sand beach that stretches as far as you can see; sparkling blue water, and comfortable accommodations are at your disposal. Each cottage has one bedroom plus a pull-out sleeper couch in the living room. Cottage "Sun" has a tub and shower, a double bed in the bedroom. A pullman kitchen offers the basics for meal preparation. Cottage "Sand" has a shower, twin beds in the bedroom, a full kitchen with sink, stove, refrigerator and a washer/dryer. A screened porch has a picnic table and a Weber grill.

Both cottages have dishes, pots and pans, and linens. "Sand" also has a metal fireplace. A path goes from both cottages to the sand beach.

Rentals are by the week. "Sand" rents for $800/week; "Sun" rents for $600/week. The cottages are located at 6988 Hwy. 57.
